PRIVACY POLICY

PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: 2 September 2026

Who we are

ANLY Travel is a trading name of The Sloane Elystan Company, a travel advisory business registered in South Carolina, United States. In this policy, “we” and “us” refer to The Sloane Elystan Company, which is the data controller responsible for the information described below.

This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It applies to our website and to our work with clients. It covers your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

What we collect

Information you give us:

• Your name, email address, and phone number

• Billing address

• Travel preferences, dates, and the names of those traveling with you

• Passport details, dates of birth, and — where you choose to share them — dietary requirements, mobility needs, or medical information relevant to your travel

• Anything else you tell us in the course of planning a journey

Information collected automatically when you visit our website:

• IP address, browser type, and device information

• Pages visited, time spent on the site, and the site you arrived from

• Information stored through cookies and similar technologies

We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this website. The technical information above is collected by our website platform as part of hosting and security.

Why we collect it

• To plan, book, and support the journeys you ask us to arrange

• To respond to enquiries and stay in touch while you are traveling

• To send our newsletter, where you have asked to receive it

• To meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

• To keep the website working and secure

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

Our legal basis for processing (GDPR)

Where GDPR applies to you, we rely on the following:

• Contract — to arrange the travel you have asked us to arrange.

• Consent — for our newsletter, and for any special category information such as dietary, mobility, or medical needs, which you are never required to give us.

• Legal obligation — for tax and accounting records.

• Legitimate interests — to run and secure our website, and to communicate with existing clients about their travel.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Doing so does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary to deliver what you have asked for:

• Travel suppliers — hotels, cruise lines, airlines, ground transport, guides, and other providers involved in your journey. What we pass on depends on the booking, and may include names, dates of birth, passport details, and any preferences or requirements you have asked us to communicate.

• Virtuoso — the travel network we belong to, where a booking is made through their program.

• Wix — our website host and platform provider.

• MailerLite — our newsletter platform, which stores the email address of subscribers.

• Payment processors — where a payment is taken. In most cases you pay suppliers directly and we do not hold your card details.

• Professional advisers and authorities — where we are legally required to disclose information.

International transfers

Travel is international by nature. If you travel outside your home country, your information will be shared with suppliers in the country you are visiting, and their data protection standards may differ from your own.

Our service providers may also store data outside the country you live in. Where personal data is transferred out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards our providers have in place, including Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and client records for seven years after your last journey with us, to meet tax and accounting requirements. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept for two years and then deleted.

How we protect it

Our website uses encryption in transit. Access to client information is limited to those who need it to do their work. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take the protection of your information seriously and would tell you promptly if something went wrong.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and receive a copy

• Ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete

• Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it

• Ask us to restrict or object to how we use it

• Ask us to transfer your information to another provider

• Withdraw consent at any time

• Opt out of marketing

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and who we share it with, to request deletion, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

To exercise any of these rights, write to studios@anlytravel.com. We will respond within thirty days. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, and cookies that help us understand how the site is performing. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not work properly if you do.

Where required, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

Links to other sites

Our website and our newsletter contain links to hotels, suppliers, and other third parties. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we would encourage you to read their policies before sharing information with them.

Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from anyone under sixteen. Where a journey includes children, we collect their details from the adult arranging the travel.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be notified to clients directly.
