How we work.
Most travel planning begins with a question about where. We begin somewhere earlier, and we stay there longer than most people expect.
A small number.
We deliberately limit the number of journeys we design so that each has the time, attention, and continuity this way of working requires. Not every inquiry becomes one of them — not because of who a person is, but because this way of working asks something of both sides, and it only holds when the fit is real. When it is, the work that follows is unhurried, collaborative, and shaped entirely around one traveller, one family, one small group of people who wanted to be somewhere together.
Before anything else.
It begins with a conversation. We ask why now. We ask about the trips you have loved and, more usefully, the ones you quietly did not; about the hour of the day you feel most yourself; about how much of a journey you want decided before you arrive and how much you would rather leave open.
We ask what you are hoping to bring back,
which is a different question from what you are hoping to see.
Most people have never been asked these things about travel. The answers are almost always more specific, and more surprising, than a destination.
There will be several conversations before an itinerary exists, and several more before a budget is discussed. Some clients want to be in every one of them; others tell us what matters and ask us to carry it from there. Both are right. We move at whatever pace belongs to you, and we are as involved as you would like us to be — no more, and never less.
This Italy trip was the trip of a lifetime. I wanted to see the Pope, you said you would see what you could do. Through tears I saw the Pope perform mass directly in front of me. What we leave out and why.
What we leave out is as considered as what we include. There are no template itineraries here, no properties recommended because they were convenient to recommend, no schedule handed over as though the document were the thing you paid for. We do not fill days to justify their length.
We do not ask a place to perform for you.
What it asks.
The work begins with a conversation. If you decide to work with use their is an engagement fee. What it comes to depends on the shape of a journey — where, how long, how many of you, and how much of it we are holding. The minimum is $200.00;
It covers the discovery, the design, and the relationships behind it: the access, the arrangements made quietly on your behalf, and the attention that continues while you are away. We discuss it in our first conversation, once we understand what you are planning.

The first thing we ask for is a conversation.
Complete the appointment request and we’ll reply within two business days to arrange a time to talk.
We’ll begin by getting to know what you’re considering and what matters most to you. After our conversation, we’ll ask for the practical details—where you’re thinking of going, roughly when, and who will be traveling.
From there, the design begins.
